Privacy policy

How we handle the personal data you share with us, under the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Last updated: 2026

1. Who controls your data

JMB — Jorge Muachilunda Construção Civil e Remodelações, Unipessoal Lda, tax ID 517024632, registered at R. José Fontana 4B, no. 1611, 2800-122 Almada, Portugal. For anything concerning personal data, write to jmbconstrucaocivil@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

We only collect what you give us voluntarily through the contact form or when you reach out to us:

  • Name, phone number, and email address

  • Location and description of the work you want done

  • Photos or documents you choose to send us

3. Why we use it

Your data is used solely to answer your request, prepare estimates, and carry out the construction contract if one comes about. The legal basis is your consent and, where a contract exists, performance of that contract. We do not use your data for marketing without your prior and explicit permission, and we never sell or share it with third parties.

4. How long we keep it

Estimate requests that go no further are deleted after 12 months. Where a contract exists, data is kept for the period required by tax and other applicable law.

5. Your rights

At any time you may request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your data, and you may withdraw consent you have given. Just write to the email address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).

6. Cookies and external services

This site uses no tracking cookies and no advertising tools. It does load resources from external services — fonts from Google Fonts, the Google Maps embed, and externally hosted media — which may record your IP address under their own privacy policies.

7. Dispute resolution

In the event of a consumer dispute, you may turn to an alternative dispute resolution body. The available bodies are listed at www.consumidor.gov.pt. Portugal's electronic complaints book is also available.
